Here we go again! This great weather we’ve enjoyed sure makes it fun to get outdoors and play radio Saturday March 9, 2013.
Starting a new project?
So gather up your toys and new gadgets you brought home from Hamcation and let’s gather and get on the air together. We will start with breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Sanford, FL on the NE corner of I-4 and SR-46 at 0730 ET. Bring that show and tell item so we can all see the new stuff!
When we finish eating and swapping stories (about 0845) we will head west on SR-46 to Sylvan Lake Park and start setting up. Normally we are in Picnic Area A past the soccer fields and turn left and follow the road until you hit the lakeside pavilions. If they are reserved you’ll have to scout the other picnic areas and watch for our antennas and cars with Amateur Radio tags.
