Once again on the second Saturday of the month, (12 May 2012) we will gather for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Sanford, FL at 0730 EDT to solve world and US problems and show n tell our latest projects.

Biscuits and Gravy

Biscuits n Gravy is Waiting 4 U

Come brag about your scores in the latest on air contests or just snicker at someone else’s tall tale! Weather report is promising clear skies and a bit less humidity following a few days of rain.

After chow we’ll move to Sylvan Lake Park about 4 miles west on SR 46 for some operating in the woods. We will start out in Picnic area A but may spread out to avoid some overload so watch for cars with Ham license plates and antennas and you’ll find us. All modes and bands are up for grabs so bring your whatevers and come on out for some fun.

  1. One of these days I’ll get up there to attend. After all, I’m a ham, and the event involves food and radios. Life is good. However, I’m getting ready to head to the Dayton Hamvention with Jane, KA1FUN (XYL) and have much to do to prepare.

Of interest to QRP ops: I’ll be doing a presentation on Sunday morning at 9:15 in Ballroom One on walking the Camino de Santiago with a QRP radio. Join me there if you’re at the Hamvention. http://t.co/JB9FZo6i

Jane is giving a presentation on Thursday night at the FDIM event, at 8 pm, check that out as well.

We’re jealous of your trip to FDIM and Dayton! Have a great time, buy lots of goodies, build ’em and bring them out to the woods and join us in June or later!
