Whoda thunk it? Long time since our faithful group of QRP portable ham radio ops have gathered in Sylvan Lake Park to enjoy our hobby and solve all the problems of the world over breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Sanford!
Once again because of the age of most of our participants falls into the range of the most vulnerable to COVID-19 infection, we’ll not formally meet. HOWEVER…our normal pattern is…
Breakfast at 0730 AM at Cracker Barrel Sanford, FL and 0900 setup in Picnic Area A of Sylvan Lake Park should you choose to be outside and play radio. There is room to spread out and operate if you wish. Personally, I’m not going out until I’m vaccinated and less vulnerable.
Ron WD8PNL has been faithful to show up at Cracker Barrel and I expect he may be making the drive over from Melbourne again this month. He’s an expert tech and has an Elmer heart to help others and I imagine he’d enjoy connecting with like-minded hams.
